Lembeh 2009: Cockatoo flounder

The cockatoo flounder gets its name from its long white fin spines that it fans out when agitated, which resembles the bristling feathers on top of a cockatoo's head. At rest, the spines are folded away out of view, leaving the flounder well-camouflaged on the seabed.
